Kalorikoll requires no account and has no server of its own. Your food diary, profile, goals, weight logs, favourites, custom foods and recipes are stored locally. Online search is only used when you choose to search Open Food Facts.

Food data from the Nordic region and the UK

Official databases

The Swedish Food Agency, Matvaretabellen (Norway), Fineli (Finland), FCDB (Denmark) and CoFID (UK) are bundled with the app.

Open Food Facts

A local subset contains products sold in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and the UK. More products can be found through optional online search.

Search and scan

Search by text or scan a barcode with your camera. Open Food Facts online search is only used when you choose it.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The app includes locally bundled food data and stores your data locally.

Is my food diary sent anywhere?

No, not to any server of our own. Open Food Facts is only used when you choose online search.

Can I export my data?

Yes. The export creates a ZIP file with CSV files and a JSON backup.

Where does the food data come from?

Does the app provide medical advice?
